In looking through my husband's German family history, I ran across one of his mother's cousins who was married to Manuel T. Ferreira from Pico. I was wondering if anyone would have any information as to where he was from on Pico. The information that I have is that he was the son of Frank Ferreira and Ana Brum. He was born on November 22, 1911 and as of the first part of 1996 he was still alive. He came to the US in 1918 with his mother & a brother to join his father who had come before WWI started. Manuel worked in a dairy after his parents returned to the Azores in 1929. He and his wife, Edna Leona, married in Carson City on March 30, 1966. They lived in Sparks, NV, and Manuel had a daughter named Linda.
I looked for Francisco & Ana on Citcem, but didn't find them. I tried looking for Manuel on tombo, but he was born after their cutoff date of early 1911.
