Theresa, Are your Noia and Rodrigues from the Newcastle/Auburn, Placer County, California area? My great-grandfather is Basilio Rogers and great-grandmother Julia Noia Rogers. My grandfather is Jess Noia and Julia Rogers Noia. They all lived in Newcastle. As far as I have been able to determine, the two Noia lines are different. The Rogers is a father/daughter. Basilio came to the United States as Basilio Rodrigues Tavares.
