CARLOS VENTURA FERREIRA (1921 - 2009) In his 88th year, succumbed to a brief but aggressive second bout of prostate cancer and passed on to the other side of life, in the arms of his children on April 17, 2009. Carlos was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Natalia, whom he missed terribly since her passing in June 2004. Carlos will be lovingly remembered by his children Carlos and Connie and Luis Medeiros. Adoring grandfather to Mark (Karen), Andrea (George), Kevin and Bryan and proud great-grandpa to Aiden, Lauren and Kieran. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens; 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON (northwest corner of Dundas and Ninth Line). Memorial Service at 12 o'clock followed by reception. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers donations in Carlos' name to the Credit Valley Hospital Cancer Research or to the Prostate Cancer Research, would be appreciated by the family.
