Thanks for the warning.
I am aware of the scare tactics that are used on people which are far more
involved then just a fine being issued. A fine is imposed only if applied
by the court when a case is won. I took copyright and entertainment law
while in college and it is a shame

You need to read the Terms of Service of the online subscription sites VERY
VERY carefully. Most online subscription sites are for personal use only.
Also, many obituaries are copyrighted, so you would need permission from
the newspaper before republishing, reposting, etc online. I'd consult

That book is available via Google Books too, making it easy to download and
put on a reader. But, being able to access the images directly through the
culturacores site is much better for extracting the images.

Go to: culturacores.azores.gov.pt/bd , click on *Pesquisar* and when that
loads click on *Imprensa.* That will take you to all of the newspapers that
are available. I think, though, that there is not one for Sao Jorge they
are mostly Terceira and Sao Miguel.

Hello.
It just occurred to me, as I am seeking information on a few aunts and uncles
that died in the 1930s and 1940s to ask wether or not SaO Jorge had a
newspaper? I'm sure it did, but the title would be greatly appreciated. I'm
also curious as to wether they would have some sort of death not
