A good chunk of people in the Azores project show traces of African (FTDNA rounds their numbers). With the 1%, 2%, 3% we don't know if that is what they call "noise" and isn't a clear reading or if it is beyond a genealogy time frame. It's hard to tell. If anyone in the records had a slave, it wou
