Wow- Priest wrote Sebastiao in the margin for the name but in the body he wrote
the name of the child as MARIA!!
Help! (There already was an older sister named Maria. )
I'm not sure if I enter this as a female or a male, as Maria or Sebastiao.

I would guess Maria (he was looking at the father, Sebastiao, and
inadvertently wrote his name in the margin). The only way to be sure is to
find either the death or the marriage of this baby.

Maybe they had 2 Maria's.

On the 10th of Aug, 1637 baptism of Maria, daughter of Sebastião Ferreira and
Catatina Cabral. Godparents are Antonio da Costa, son of Manuel? Ferreira and
Agada Ferreira, daughter of Gonçalo Ferreira.
