I knew a Cathy Espinola from Methuen, MA back in the 50's-60's. I forget her
father's name , but you could go to the 1950 US Census as a start.
There was also Anthony Espinola from Lawrence, MA whose mother was my baby
sitter when I was a pre-schooler.

Sorry folks. Couple of errors in post.
1) all references to Island should read Graciosa (like Guadalupe, Ilha
Graciosa) not Sao Jorge.
2) Manoel was born March 3- 1868, not 1869, baptism is correct.
