Thomas was born in Piadade in 1867 and died in California USA in 1954. I'm
trying to get a confirmation of some sort on his mother and father. I do

Azorean writer Urbano Bettencourt (full name Manuel Urbano Bettencourt
Machado), who was born in Piedade in 1949 and is a proud Picoense
(although lives on São Miguel nowadays)? If so, please let me know,
