I know that FamilySearch also has Brazilian immigration/passport records.
They recently sent me a couple of matches with information for relatives
that had immigrated to Brazil that I didn't know anything about.

My understanding is that a baptism may be recorded "sub condicione" by a
priest when it is the second baptism of an individual, and the priest has a
concern that the first baptism might not have been performed exactly

Bob I just recently added you to my FTDNA tree via this lineage. My dad’s
maternal line also when to Brazil. They were in Santana area of Rio de Janeiro.
Their names where Cardoso Ventura and Goncalves Leonardo and Goncalves

already baptized.However, if the baptism is in doubt, a "conditional " baptism
