PS: my grandfather learnt how to use a laptop and Skype at 94 to be in
contact with his younger and last living brother in Brazil, his daughter in
Lisbon, another daughter in the Azores, a son in Namibia, and another
daughter in Belgium, and all his grandchildren and

A special shout out to Celeste Perry who helped me back in 2015 when we
discovered 8GGparents in common. Thank you for all the help and for your
service to this outstanding group.

Jacintho Machado. Looked for their marriage in records of Sao Sebastao, Sao

I have Emilia moniz married to Jacintho Machado; their son Domingos born 1871
and immigrated to Boston and was (according to my mother-in-law) raised by
the Jesuits.. Being that he went to

FYI: I had a fun Skype call with a cousin in the Azores last week. It
is great to be able to see and hear them and it is free call. We are
planning on another chat real soon.
