Hi Becky, I was gone for when you posted this but saved it as I thought it rang a bell....you probably know that he was the brother to your husband's great-grandmother Luisa Emilia and my great-grandmother Anna Luisa. I have these notes on him in my program which are family oral tradition (my grandfather 's brother's daughter, who lived in the Azores told us this) Manuel went to the United States and lived in the Oakland area. He and his wife had four children. Manuel caught his wife in infidelity and went to the Acores and never came back.
