I talked to MyHeritage at Jamboree. They have a setting to change what you
describe. It's their default (kinda dumb, if you ask me). But it can be
changed.

When we have new people come into the FHC, that is the first thing we try
and teach, how to enter the dates! The next thing is that women are *always*
listed by their maiden name! This is why MyHeritage is so frustrating, that
they are *not *following genealogical format by listing a woman by her

Genealogy format for dates is day, month, year (4 digits). It's in every
genealogy book I've read and taught in genealogy classes. Also, they tell
you to use day, month, year when you go to a FHC. When I got into
genealogy, I groaned, but I am completely used to it!
