I don't have a timeframe. I can't find any definite ships or immigration
papers. However, she was born in 1867. On one of her children's birth
records, she once used the last name SILVA. I'm wondering if it is
anglicisation of Seceiro. She also used DaSilva once.

I'm trying to figure out how to post the death certificate, but both her and
her father are listed with the last name SECEIRO and place of birth is just
listed as Azores islands. I know her husband came from Sao Jorge.

Wow, Marjorie, I've never seen that name before. In the pamphlet, *Basic
Portuguese Paleography*, there is a section of surnames and the closest I
can was *Soceiro*.

On my great great grandmothers death certificate, her parents are listed as
