What is the name (or names) of a San Francisco newspaper from 1945?
I searched Newspaper Archives (their S.Fran. papers don't go to 1945) and I
only found 1 on Ancestry (Alta California something, which didn't go to 1945
either).

Try the Oakland Newspapers on Ancestry.com. I was researching marriage in
another county and it was in the Oakland paper (1901). There are several
newspapers listed on Ancestry for Oakland.

The two main papers in San Francisco at this time were the SF Chronicle and
the SF Call-Bulletin. I haven't found any online
The only places I've found films of these are at The San Francisco Library,
The Oakland Main Library and the California State Library at Sacramento.

Did you try the San Francisco Examiner, San Francisco Chronicle, and what
was William R. Hearst paper that he published way back then???
There was the San Francisco Morning Call. I went to ask.com and a lot of
