I just want to say thank you very much. E I believe you were the one who gave me a date of a possible Mary Dias that died on May 1, 1933. Well I went on ancestry on that possible date which took me to find a grave. She is buried at St. Mary's. I called them and they didn't have much info so I

Thank you, Gail. It always make me happy when listers are able to glean more family info and can take their family research further back. I don't know how they come up with some of these spellings but not too long ago I also helped another girl with her Dyers family and putting 2 and 2 together

I want to thank everyone for their input on our trip to Europe, specifically, the Azores. Have made all our hotel reservations. Don't know if I will do any research or not while there but it will be fun to see where my grandmother's family lived--I can't say came from as they came from Naples

Nice to know it is a rooster. I'm not too good with bird identification! I have several of them as they are painted so beautifully. I was in Sintra and a man and woman selling carved Folk objects on the street were from the Azores. Many of their objects were this rooster.   Thanks again for
