Foster would most likely be Faustino in Portuguese. This was the case with my
g.g.grandfather Joseph Foster (aka Jose Faustino) who was from the Island of
Sao Jorge in the Azores.

I will try and help you if I can but need more info. Where did Manuel
Foster L. Foster live in the US. What are his wife's name, and his
children names as it will help us find them in census records, etc. to get
back to the Azores.

(Estimated 1882) his Immigration year was 1906 his mother name may have
been Mary Candida any help would be very much appreciate
