only meant to point out that this writer was not kind with his remarks about

I have a book titled History of the Azores, or Western Islands. It is a
Bibliobazaar reprint of the 1813 travelog of Captain Thomas Ashe. Not all
of it is written in a flattering light, but I certainly learned a lot about
the Azores, Azorian traditions, history, geology, people, ect. I would
