São Mateus da Calheta is the São Mateus in the concelho of Angra on Terceira. This is what I have Manuel Pinheiro Lourenco married Josefa Rosa on 4/16/1823 in Altares. It mentions the parish of Sao Matthew of Calheta. Who is from here and what island is this? Did he have a first wife name Mariana Rosa? thus making Josefa Rosa his second wife.
