[BackupPC-users] Email Notifications - Via another MTA rather than sendmail

Is there a way to setup backuppc to use a different MTA (email system) where it has to provide a url, username and password to send email notifications. I don't have sendmail on the backuppc system and would like backuppc to send email notifications via a standard email system. Thanks in
