You might want to check that your perl is in /bin/perl. It's probably
in /usr/local/bin/perl or /usr/bin/perl. Simply change the line at the
top of the script to whatever this command tells you:
which perl

I tried to make backup with backuppc on debian sarge, and the
server client is a Debian etch kernel: 2.6.8-2-386.
When I start the full backuppc for this machine, I got a error with
the follow message:

input the username.

I put the Username in the config file by hand, and now, it works perfect.

I just started using BackupPC (3.0). In reviewing teh logs, I see lots of erros
related to SMB signature. It sems to backup most of the drive's files, just
some of the files result in errors. This happens with all the windows machines

I have strange problem. Since 3 or 4 days my backuppc on one machine crashed
every night. When i morning come at work i see that backuppc is not running,
