Hey Mike thanx a lot . Now its working . Hey Again Thanx a lot for ur valuable
time to solve my problem . Now i got every options . But also i have one
problem . Now i want to take backup a server like mailserver . Alreday i add
the mailserver in the #vi hosts file . Alos i get the host mailse
true enough.
may i ask what steps you did to get backuppc running on freebsd7? i have
tried a few times and just havent mastered the os yet(if ever!). are you
using apache or a smaller webserver? cgi interface working?

For me, the one things that keeps me off ZFS for production use is that I am
a Linux guy and ZFS is not a linux thing. You need to run freebsd, nexenta,
opensolaris, or real solaris to use ZFS.
ZFS is a great choice in filesystem in my testing but I have not
successfully setup backuppc on freebsd

i'm trying backuppc for my company, but i've a strange "backup failed"
during my test.
I'm working on a debian etch with perl 5.8.8, smbclient 3.0.24 and
backuppc 3.1 and i want to backup a samba share (about 20GB from a
windows 2003 x64 server).
