I am addressing all hosts by 'hostname', not IP. All machines run with

Note that you should ensure all hosts you want to back up have static IPs
on your network. (You can do this either manually or with DHCP, as is
your preference.)
Hi,
considering this is a reply to a thread apparently resolved two weeks ago, it
is really a shame that backupcentral.com forgot the "Re" in the subject.

Hi,
I'm still getting emails from BackupPC, but the backups are
happening. The Email Summary does not show these outgoing emails
being sent. Why is this?
Where is BackupPC getting the data as to when the last backup
happened? I had a successful backup done on one machine last night at

Hi,
after installing backuppc you have to make it available to apache. Do the
following (for apache2):
ln -s /etc/backuppc/apache.conf /etc/apache2/sites-available/
mv /etc/apache2/sites-available/apache.conf
/etc/apache2/sites-available/backuppc.conf
a2ensite backuppc.conf
/etc/init.d/apac
Thank you for your help, i have use rm, not BackupPC_deleteBackup.sh,
and after BackupPC_nightly.
I have free space :)
