I would say that if you have a good backup from day 1, you would simply
restore that backup and have all the benefits of a fresh install. we need a
tool that will run rsync against shadowcopy so that you could get every file
on the system so that a restore would be possible.

I need to backup each client machine to a different hard drive on the
server. I have one client configured and it tries to backup
As shown here, I have two machines which are being shown as "Hosts with
no Backups": http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/6526/backuppcjc1.png -
which as you can see is incorrect, because not only are they running,
that image shows their link is still pending.

The OS is centos 5 and is up to date. The sudo package is
sudo-1.6.8p12-12.el5 and has been removed and reinstalled to be sure it
wasn't a corrupt package.

still have a ways to go before I can serve at your capacity!
I read over your reply and have a few added pieces and some questions: (All
of this was the same when I successfully created the keys before the crash
yes a checked, that. The problem was resolved by a response of craig, in
version 3.1 with reiserfs fs one has to change line 83 in Lib.pm in order to
backuppc read a update de cpool correctly. Now it,s working.

ok, Im made a mistake it's actually 3.1, I did what you say in Lib.pm and it's
working perfectly now. I can see in the Log the cpool not empty and cleaned,
