Hi,
I am using BackupPC 3.1 on a ubuntu server 10.04.
My hard drives are full and need to add one to have a new and bigger
/var partition.
In the mean time I would like to continue backing up things using an
external drive
things are actually archived using standard path /var/lib/backuppc/p

Agreed.

Hi,
I have a backup that stopped because of an error 13 (no room on disk).
The corresponding folder is in /var/lib/backuppc/pc/localhost but not
visible from the admin webpage.
Can I safely remove the folder from a console with rm or do I need to
use another method.
Thanks in advance
Philip

I personally prefer "Whatever you are doing, just stop". :)

Oh ! So that "Stop/Dequeue Backup" button can also cancel the restore ! Clearly
the button label is misleading.
I would make it even more explicit by renaming it to "Stop/Dequeue
Backup/Restore".
Thanks all for clarifying.

"Stop/Dequeue Backup" could use a better label. What it means is

Hi Michael,
I have BackupPC version 3.2.0, I don't see any "cancel" button in the Host
Summary page. Do you mean the "Stop/Dequeue Backup" button?
In the Host Summary page, the restore action doesn't appear until it has
finished (which is too late). The only way I can see there's a restore runn
Hi,
My Xfer method is rsync over ssh. BackupPC server is installed on RHEL 5.4.
I started to restore a 20G file then I realized I don't need to do it anymore
but can't find a way to cancel the restore. The client is also RHEL 5.4.
So how to cancel a restore?
Thanks,
Long
