To remove bckups you need to get into the script.
Solution
cd /var/lib/BackupPC/pc//
ls
rm -fR /usr/share/BackupPC/bin/BackupPC_nightly 0 255
Check space reclaimed with df.

How do you delete backups? I've been messing around with lots of different
hosts trying to work out how to use the software and I want to get rid of all
the unwanted backups.
