I don't use hibernate, but have been struggling for a while to get backuppc working with windows clients that suspend the processor after a period of inactivity, which is pretty much the same issue. (For a full backup, the suspend was kicking in before the backup completed. ) I do currently have

Tarak, No, there isn't a way to generate incremental archives. If you really want to go to the trouble of creating full and incremental tape archives (eg, using tar), it might be better to do that directly without BackupPC. That way you have fully redundancy (ie, the tape method doesn't even dep
