to know than just a job completion).
Those you can also define under the general server e-mail configuration.

Hi Elias,
I usually copy backuppc user ssh key into the target machine, and run rsync as
root.
$sshPath -q -x -l root $host ….
I don’t hit permission issues that way.

backup schedule of that host, and Backuppc see will not
notify you, yet it will not delete the host nor its backup sets.
However, those backups might be deleted later along the way according to your
retention policy.
