Have you tried running the tar command on the host that is being backed up? It's possible that you will see errors that you wouldn't see otherwise. Have you had previous successful backups and only occasionally seen failures? If so, it's possible that a file is changing as tar is reading it. Ta

[BackupPC-users] Anyone have a copy of BackupPC_DeleteFile.pl?

When I searched for BackupPC_DeleteFile.pl it appears that the only place it was posted was on the wiki for BackupPC. And the URL is no longer valid. Can someone shoot me a copy of the file or, even better, make it available on the Internet? Thanks!

[BackupPC-users] BackupPC_DeleteFile requirement jLib.pm not working

I found what looks like an excellent tool for managing backuppc pools. It allows the deletion of files or directories from archives. The instructions say to install the jLib.pm module, but don't tell how to inst
