Hi all,
I don't know what it was, but after deleted the contens of the "pool"
directory the backup of localhost works.
Since I only back up /etc I use the same method like with the clients
and connet to localhost through ssh.

I set up backuppc.
It works with the clients but not with localhost.
Empty folders and some few files do get backed up.
The command:
/usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC_dump -v -f localhost
commes up with entries like:
tarExtract: Can't link /var/lib/backuppc/pc/localhost/new/f%
2fetc/fhdparm

The last few hours I searche the mailinglist and read a lot.
But I am still not sure if:
