[BackupPC-users] rsyncd info

Hi I was just wondering what rsync does when running rsyncd on the client if a full backup fails. Does it try and continue from where it left off on the next run ? Also for the next full backup I assume it does a complete copy ? Thanks Terry

Out of interest is any one using HoboCopy to help backup there windows ? Still debating the best option to grab a copy of the pst on start-up on the machines so it can then be rsynced safely. To avoid any files in use messages.

now for some testing Thanks Terry Just been reading through the list and rsyncd seems a possible good way to go. If I share the whole c drive I can hopefully pick out what I need to backup. Going to depend on what privileges the rsync service has under vista I guess
