Lately I am having problems with backing up a particular server. We increased
the swap space on unix solaris box and the backup was performed with following
error:
2010-03-31 05:22:37 ccdev10: Out of memory during large request for 16781312
bytes, total sbrk() is 468277248 bytes at
I use BackupPC v.3.0
I changed the the backup data directory to a new location because of space
issues. What setting should I set for the pool location to be at the same
directory as the backup_data?
Thanks in advance.
Chris

I have the following files
/cmroot/ems_src/view/2010_emsmadd.vws/.pid
/cmroot/ems_src/view/2010_deva.vws/.pid
/cmroot/ems_src/view/emsadmcm_01.03.006.vws/.pid
/ccdev10/cmroot/ems_src/vob/mems.vbs/.pid
I would like backuppc to exclude .pid
I used the following exclude line with host.pl
'/Commun/Informatique/Second_folder_to_exclude/'],
Remove the comma. The last entry should not have a comman

Thanks for the reply. I am not an expert on Backups. I did spend a lot of time
reading and researching about the tape backups on Linux. Here is the full error
message:
