I did not put any passphrase. I left it blank.
But I tried generating the ssh keys again, and copied over to the client
machine. It seems to work now.

In that case, does it means that my client also would need to be configured
that it would be passwordless when ssh to the backuppc server?

I already configure the rsa keys so that i can log in the remote machine
without prompting for password.
testing it out by remoting to the machine, it's working fine.

I decided to remove the hosts and the config.pl for the host and redo
everything.
SOmehow it works already. Guess I might have done wrong somewhere.
