Backuppc 3.30/Centos 6. Trying to restore backup (of Ubuntu machine, 10K files,
50GB), always got error:

Hello. Ubuntu 12.04/Backuppc 3.3.0. Trying to create archive host for removable
media. Host created OK in "Edit Hosts". Host appeared in "Hosts with no
Backups" in the "Host Summary". After changing transfer metod to "Archive" and
setting backup destination, host just disappears from Host Summar

Yes, you're right, seems to be that pid file in version 3.3 has "moved" for
fuzzy reason to
/var/lib/backuppc/log/BackupPC.pid

Probably start backuppc, because it's not running.

configure.pl --batch --config-path /etc/backuppc/config.pl worked for me. Where
configure.pl is config script from 3.3.0 package.
Due to some bug, it's a must to change "my $useFHS = 1" in Lib.pm file.

Hello. We have backuppc 3.2.1 under Ubuntu 12.04. I get a warning messages from
our windows servers:
BackupPC: Outlook files on ..server.. need to be backed up
But this is just Windows servers with no any use of e-mail.
How I could disable this warnings ?
