just solved the problem.
so CentOS 7 works with BackupPC 3.x
next problem:
I tried to install BackupPC 4.0a3 on a clean CentOS 7 (VM)
step by step, many steps ...
i am now stuck at installing mod_scgi
it require apxs2 to compile which is not found in httpd-devel
i have no idea how to build it fro
1st time
after installation and config a apache user for backuppc
when i visit http://localhost/BackupPC
the login page is downloaded
2nd try
no permission on that page
even the config file of apache is set to be "allow, deny" "allow ALL"
I got it work on CentOS 6.X without problem
can anyone sha

so it's normal because of the hdd speed limitation ...
Except the upgrading the HDD, is there any way to shorten the backup time?

finally SOLVED
1) delete the backup LVM
2) rebuilt all hdd to a new LVM, mount it on /backup
3) unlink & delete /var/lib/BackupPC
4) symlink the /var/lib/BackupPC to /backup
5) chown -R backuppc:backuppc for both
6) mkdir /backup/pc /backuppc/cpool
7) restart backuppc!
it works without rein
pc/pcName/71 (the only and the latest backup)

it's 1 backuppc to 1 pc on same LAN.
a) In backuppc server, the LVM is mounted on /backup
/dev/mapper/vg_backup-LogVol00
7.2T 6.5T 337G 96% /backup
b) du -h /backup/backuppc/cpool/
6.5T /backup/backuppc/cpool/
c) In cpool directory, i'm not sure if the data
