I just installed BackupPC 3.1 on a CentOS5 system.
It's working, but not quite the way I expected.
Here's the problem.

I wanted to only backup the directory /etc/namedb .
I put this in the BackupFilesOnly section for
the host in question and selected the Override option.
I had also put /etc in the BackupFileExclude section for
the server because in general I don't want the whole /etc
directory to be backed up on the hosts I'm going to add.
I was thinking that the BackupFilesOnly selection would take precedence
over the BackupFilesExclude selection. It turned out
that this was incorrect. Nothing at all from /etc was backed up.

So, I removed /etc from the BackupFilesExclude configuration for
the host in question but now the backup includes everything in /etc,
which is way more than what I want.

My question is, how can I specify that I want specific subdirectories
backed up without including the whole parent directory?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cordially,
