Hi,

after upgrading my earlier BackupPC installation to 3.0.0, I encounter
problems coming back to regular backups.
This runs with a dedicated apache 2.0.51 with mod_perl under openSuSE 10.3.
I can generate a backup using the buttons on the respective client
site ok (both full and incremental). However, the scheduled backups
quite frequently (although not always) run and produce something like

2007-10-22 18:00:34 incr backup started back to 2007-10-19 10:25:17
(backup #2) for directory /home
2007-10-22 18:26:32 Rename /backup/backuppc/backupPC/pc/<clientname>/new
-> /backup/backuppc/backupPC/pc/<clientname>/5 failed

After such a run, a backup is listed on the client page, but the
directory is empty.

Apache runs as user `backuppc' group `users' (I know, according to the
installation documentation this should be more restrictive, but for the
moment I want to get things going for now ...). Directories and files
below the top directory of backuppc belong to `backuppc' group `users'
with permissions 750 (directories) and 640 for files.

Anyone with an idea where I can look and track down the problem?

Best regards
Bernd
