Small isolated container is always easier to maintain. Now VMWare ESXi
coming free, there is also openvz for linux and jails subsystem for BSD.
Even new version of PHP can be issue with bugs in scripts itself
P.S. VMWare especially
Using rpm for el5 from source forge (rpms-contrib-fschwarz). Working fine.
But may be developer gurus can tell more.
as for me, still suffering without 1)VSS compatibility in 64-bit windows
2008, 2) and support of deleted files in incremental backups :(
