I have a Full/incremental setup in place, but most days, it gets updated to
"full" backup. How can I find out _why_ this is happening, since I am now
using way more disk space then planned? It seem to run "incremental" only as
long as the job is done on the same day as the "full", and do a new "ful

Specifically:
All daemons should go in "$(sbindir)".
The sd tools, bconsole, and any other gui console or monitoring program

I need to have access to everything that it did find even if the whole backup

I was reading InfoWorld today and came across a couple of ideas that would be
really cool to see implemented for Bacula. One is server/architecture side,
and the other is more client side.
1. Backup up data as it changes.
Microsoft's Data Protection Manager does this. This would be really grea
Or maybe an option in the bacula-dir.conf

Respect_Local_Exclude = No

Hello,
Are there any comments on this proposal?
To be consistent, I would imagine we would need to include bconsole,
wxconsole, and possibly a number of other files in /usr/bin as well. I can
understand Daniel's point, but probably prefer to let the user move or link

Hi!
I want to move from Arkeia to Bacula and I'm already able to run
backups. Arkeia was able to exclude directories from backup when a file
with name .OPB_NOBACKUP exists in a directory. Does Bacula support a
similar functionality and how do I use it?
Thanks,
Alex.

Hello,
I have a problem to set up multiple tapers with concurrent jobs.
I have 2 backup servers :

- the second one (S2) only with another taper + SD
My Director is managing the backup jobs on the 2 tapers. I have jobs for
