Do other people have a problem with the amount of information written on
tapes varying to a very large degree? As shown below, I have gotten 99
GB and 1 GB on two of these tapes. These are three brand new tapes.
Any ideas what could be going on here or what I should be looking at?

Evening...
before filing a bug report I wanted to be sure I'm not doing anything
wrongly. I have frequently failing backup jobs because my streamer can't
be found/opened (a bug of the 2.6 Linux kernel that Kern kindly pointed me
to). But then the volumes that have been used so far for the job a
my client deamon got stuck and my restart script never killed it.
It works now

The Address of the client os ok, too. Tcpdump tells me that the clients
gets some traffic from the server.
No firewall is active on the client/server.
I even set really stupid passwords in my config files:
SERVE
How can this happen?

setup. Should Bacula not just wait until the device was done writing to
the volume before trying?
