You should be able to use "winbacula.exe /s /D=C:\bacula" for a silent
install. However, the installer will always default to a Client only
install, and will only install the most default and bland

Hi,
today I made a small restore test.
I have three storages:
1) the Main storage on a disk array
2) the Tape storage
3) the Extra storage on a removable SATA disk, which is used to backup
one special project.
I run the restore command, selected the file, it was found in Catalog on
volume "supl

Just a note to say a big thank you for the Bacula community and its
founders!
I just got a Verify Job to work successfully with SHA1 signature and verify

I manually set a tape to recycle using
update volume="CNIxyz" volstatus="Recycle"
This tape has been used before, it was "LastWritten" on 13th October 2007.
It was also "FirstWritten" on 13th October 2007. It has a maximum use
time of 1 day. i.e. the maximum time between First and Last written

Has anybody ever run bacula-fd under the Windows cluster service?
I've been trying to create it as a "Generic Service" without a whole lot
of success.
Still, I haven't exhausted all troubleshooting options as yet, so I
might get it going...

Sounds like bug #952 which I believe is fixed. Make sure you've got the
most recent version (IIRC it was fixed in 2.2.4 or 2.2.5).

If this is a FAQ then I appologise, but does anyone know why the icon doesn't
appear in the systray on my WinXP workstations?
When I first install it the tape icon appears, but 9 times out of 10 if I
reboot, although the service is running the icon doesn't appear.
