I try to remember but I provide help on at minimum 10 email lists so
it is sometimes difficult however your problem was very recent.

Hi there,
I have bacula configured to have several tape pools with automatic
labeling as shown below:
Pool {
Name = backdat1
Pool Type = Backup
Recycle = yes
AutoPrune = yes
Volume Retention = 4 weeks
Label Format = BACKDAT1-
Storage = DDS-backdat1
}
I used to have tapes labeled as

Yes, that would work. But I think that it would be better a job for the
director to do. Than only one place had to be changed and all sche

I have this quick hack of a script that I had tossed into cron to do the
same:
/etc/bacula/bconsole < /etc/bacula/label.txt
cat /etc/bacula/label.txt
update slots
label barcode pool=Scratch
yes
mount slot=1
quit

Hi,
I have an autochanger with 1 drive and 8 media. Every Friday all tapes
are outhaused. So I need to make a "update slots" after replacing the tapes.
How can I create a job schedule in the director to do this every friday
afternoon?

Hi guys.
Does some knows if is possible to know how many pass or writes has a
tape? I'm using bacula 2.2.5 with freebsd 6.1, tape LTO-3 tape.
I have been using some tapes and want to know if i need to change
for new ones, time ot time, i run verify jobs, but just want to know
if is possible
Hi there..
Folks, I'm using Spool directory now expecting to minimize my problem
with LTO1 slow recording (see other thread :).
I'd configure spool size to 100G and hope that:
- When bacula fill the tape, I'll have 100G to spool data and just
record them when provide a new tape.
But wasnt what
This tape drive works with bacula, but the mail slot is only usable via
the web interface, not controllable via the scsi interface at all. You
will have to use the web interface or the front panel to eject tapes.

This is a caused by a broken compiler or assembler on your machine. You need

Dear All,
I've still got this really odd compilation problem which I am truly lost
on. Any help would be most welcomed! :-)
I configure with:
./configure --prefix=/opt/bacula --enable-smartalloc
--with-working-dir=/var/bacula --with-pid-dir=/var/run
--enable-client-only --enable-conio
