Given VMware's recent announcement to end support for VCB in favour of
the new vStorage APIs (specifically, VADP), does anyone have any plans
for integrating Bacula with these APIs? Integration could either be a
drop in replacement program to do the same work as vcbMounter, or even a
new FD plugin,
Sorry to raise this one again, but I was bitten by this one recently, and
found Stephen Thompson's comments hit the nail right on the head.

I am guessing the following is a permissions problem. Anyone know what the
perms are supposed to be for each directory?

Here is the install procedure I followed:

I install sucessfully the 'dir' daemon,
use the script to create the database,
copy my dump in this one,
use the script to upgrade the table from version 10 to 11,
and later I 11 to 12.. (I think it was good to jump from version 10 to 12)
and it seems work fine!!

Hi all,
I had to change the machine of mine old bacula, and I would take the
opportunity to upgrade to 5.0.1.
Obviusly I would like to import the old database and config files (the
files should be compliant).
Haw can I do?
Thanks

SD, FD, and networks are fine.
I think i am getting it !
Putting the private adresse in the client config is not enough.
You have to put the private FQDN of the bacula server in the Storage config
for the client coming back on the good NIC
Storage {
Name = Autochangeur
# Do not use
have you configured heratbet interval on bacula dir, bacula sd, and bacula
fd ??
