Hi,
I am in the need to know the client address / hostname (as configured
in the Client definition) in a Run After Job script. According to the
manual there are only these place holders:
%c = Client's name
%d = Director's name
%e = Job Exit Status
%i = JobId
%j = Unique
I don't understand why bacula thinks it is necessary to do TWO full backups of
the FileSet my-files to start things off with the following configuration.
Would anyone know how to prevent it?
Thanks, Bill
bacula-dir.conf parts:
FileSet {
Name = my-files
Include {
Options {

Hey you,
Last night I dreamt I was in a hostel or dorm type building. You were
one or two beds over, but in a double or something. You had blood (or
something red) all over your face and down your chest. I went to get a
wet towel for you, but by the time I got back you were awake and

Did you add any salt to the PB/toast? I don't see any mention of jam,
perhaps that is the issue?
Be well,

I have been thinking about this for a long time, and I have tried several
ways of monitoring jobs, but none of the existing tools gave me the kind
of monitoring I wanted.
The things I want a backup monitor to do are:
* Alert if a backup job fails to start
* Alert if the job is waiting on
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
That could have been a _lot_ worse.
