A quick test of this scenario seems to work.
Leaving "Prefer Mounted Volumes = yes" (default).
Setting both drives in autochanger to have 1/2 of the the total
concurrently limit. This per device setting seems to allow for multiple
drives using the same Pool.
Not very well documented IMHO.

A suggestion regarding downloads.
It would be good to have a link for downloading, as opposed to a form.
Why? I'm using my Macbook in my living room. Not a web browser on my server…

Well, with multiple concurrent jobs enabling data spooling does
guarantee that jobs are written to the volume sequentially instead of
being interleaved. It also avoids wasting space in the backup volumes if

You can if you enable just spooling attributes or have a fast disk

How to restore catalog data for a single job with bscan?

Hi folks,
I'm having a problem understanding job priorities. We don't allow
mixed jobs to run concurrently, so based on that I've set up my
catalog backup at the lowest priority (25) while regular backups run
at 10, some at prio 15 to assure the catalog backup won't start before
all regular backup

I want to have only one job writing on the tape but spool other jobs
in parallel.
This is the default as far as i understand. The tape is lock
