After the bacula (to debian wheezy ) upgrade, current running is
5.2.6+dfsg-2 version, I can not do restores using the "brestore" option on
BAT graphical console (with the previous version the restoration using BAT
worked fine), I can surf throug
only a rough idea:
restore the client on a local machine
do a full bacula backup of this local client
trash the local client
define the WAN clinet in bacula
do an incremental backup of the WAN client

No if the filesystem containing the volumes is Full bacula will just
mark all volumes it tries to create on that filesysem as Full and not
issue any comp

I'm trying to use bacula but for space reasons I can only do incremental
backups so I need to make sure that I archive everything.
I see two alternatives:
* Bacula in normal mode ensuring that all files are considered new
(settting ctimes)
* Bacula in accurate mode

It turns out I've got a few other NFS drives failing and they're all on the
same RAID system. So I'm working on repairing that and hopefully the data will
be recovered and I won't need to rebuild the bacula catalog. Fingers crossed.

the Fedora / RHEL / CentOS repository has been updated with a couple of
small fixes related to the RHEL 7 branching, and as of today, Fedora 16 has
been removed as it's End of Life.
Fedora 17 and 18 packages are identical to those in updates-testing.

Is it possible to encyprt data for particular job only for FD. I've the
same 2 jobs, first daily backup on disk and second weekly backup on
tape. I want to encrypt data stored on tape only. Is it some solution
for that?

is there a way to get bacula to create file based volumes with timestamps in
names and then instead of recycling them (as that would just use a volume with
irrelevant timestamp on it) just dropping them and creating new one with actual
timestamp?
