Hello Radoslaw,
I have considered in the past applying for someone, but after a lot of
thought,
I decided not to try. The main reason is that to properly mentor
someone like
that takes a lot of work, and I am already working too many hours. With
Bacula
Systems, I manage a small team of people in

Hi all-
I am looking for a tutorial on how to upgrade my Bacula install from 5.0.2 to
5.2.13 on a CentOS 5.9 box. I am also looking on how to upgrade Bacula and
preserve my config (Catalogs, Pool definitions, etc). Any guidance would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What about mt setblk and defblksize?
If you do get it working again, then it would be interesting to try dd again
to see if the first block really is only 1k.

I would be willing to develop Almir (bacula web interface
http://almir.readthedocs.org/en/latest/) for GSOC if somebody would like to
mentor me as part of my last year on UNI.

Here
I have an autochanger with multiple tape drives. I have 2 pools using all of
the drives, let's say poolA and poolB. It may take a long time before a drive
becomes available to poolB, so I'd like poolA denied the use of a drive, or the
inverse of that, have 1 of the drives exclusive to the use

Dear all,
I'm currently completely redefining my Bacula setup and plan now to use Virtual
Full backups
for some of my bigger servers.
I've now defined the necessary two pools but am unsure now if it is a good
practice to
create a "loop" in these pools:
Pool {
Name = Pool1

Hello bacula users,
three days ago one of my servers raid 5 died completly and i had to do a
bare metal restore.
This restore works fine, except the thing that i got two messages about
directories which already exists during the restore and a logfile which
could not be restored with the original
