Doesn't backing up the catalog into a Bacula Pool of volumes defeat the purpose as it would be inconvenient to retrieve the catalog in the case of failure? Sure it could be useful to have a catalog snapshow, but in the event of failure perhaps it would be useful to store just a synced version of

Hi, I have the same issue. There is no way I think, only custom script can help. It can be good feature request for bacula developers. BTW, you must not delete job by id's. It is sufficient to purge volumes. When purge take place all associated job id's are removed from database automatically. Th
