Hi Phil and Ana,
Thank you for your replies. I didn't do any database dumps and the files
have been updated today as can be seen by the datastamps below, so I'm
concerned about removing the files. Below is the output of all the files
under this folder...

Hi Neil,
Yes, as Phil said, something is generating the bacula.sql. Maybe a catalog
backup job, where you have the make_catalog_backup script configured or
something else. I can´t see a log.sql. Instead I see a log file. This
is the log file generated by Bacula according to your Messages resource
Hi João,
Do you have job retention configured for your clients? If Bacula is not
pruning your jobs because of pruning volumes, maybe you have a job
retention period too short in your clients definition. Also your volume

I am just getting caught up on the list . You need to follow upgrade
instructions for your database. There are scripts available to perform
the upgrade. Depending on which version of 5.X that you were running,
there are different starting points.

Hi everyone!
I'm working with bacula 5.2.13 on my network. Everything is doing fine. I
have an autoloader with 7 tapes. Each tape runs 1 week. With this
configuration I would have 49 days backed up in my LTO-4 tapes.
However, the comand list jobs only shows jobs from the last 28 days. In

I have recently succeeded by help from this wonderful mailing list in
performing truncation of purged volumes. It works fine and does exactly
what I wanted. However, the command prune expired volume yes issues
the following type of message for each and every volume in the pools.
