It’s been an interesting few days with my bacula system.
Thanks for all the help and the suggestions; I think I’m over the major hurdle
of having a non-functioning system. I’ll get to the current config, but first
let me answer the questions that were asked:
My freebsd version is 10.2-RELEASE-p
So I made sure that everything was running and it still didn't work. Then, I
tried to ping the machines and it turns out that the server can ping the
clients but not the other way around. I have no idea why that is the case

Hello.
After some suggestions here on the list, I'm trying out copy jobs.
I assembled a query which selects from most recent Full, Differential
and Incrementals and copies them from a NAS (running Bacula-SD) to a
Tape (on the local SD).
While it has worked the first time, it gives an error now
root@house:~# mt -f /dev/st0 status
SCSI 2 tape drive:
File number=-1, block number=-1, partition=0.
Tape block size 0 bytes. Density code 0x0 (default).
Soft error count since last status=0
General status bits on (5):
DR_OPEN IM_REP_EN

Hello,
It seems you are having hardware problems with your tape library. Are you
receiving warning or critical alerts (TL operartor panel, TL web interface
or TapeAlert messages)?
Best regards,
Ana
