Hi everyone,
I´m having some problems with the mysql db and bacula.
The scheduleds jobs keeps failing, it seems I have a inconsistency in
the tables.
I don´t know if the problem is related, but some of my incremental
volumes(disk backup) keep growing abnormally.
The output of the jobs is huge,
Hi,
I have changed a fileset and now bacula increases the level of backup from incremental to full.
But I did'nt changed the name of the fileset. I just included one more directory to backup.
Every time I include or exclude a directory from a fileset it will increase the level of backup?

Hi,
I'am using bacula since last month, and ir runs smoothly.
But my strategy is to use a volume for 1 month and then prune it, and create a new volume.
It works, but it is not autoLabeling a new volume for this storage.
And it seems strange cause it autolabeled the volume last month when I start
Hi,

In addition to Florian's suggestion, make sure your Volumes don't get too big.
Better to have a few more Volumes than have them too big ... 2GB is the
maximum I would let mine get, were I using disk storage.

Hi,
My restore jobs are very slow!
For example, a job to restore 1 file of 8kb it takes six minutes!
fs1-fd: -rw-r--r-- 1 mazzoni graduand8011 2005-07-04 05:17:24
/users/mazzoni/fsdd.pbm

Hi,

Hi,
I have many restore jobs, one for each server.
But every time I try to run a restore it auto-selects the storage device.
For ex. this is one of the restore jobs:
Job {
Name = colchesterRestore
Type = Restore
Client= colchester-fd
FileSet=colchester
Pool = colchester
Messages = Standard
Thanks!
When backing up to disk, you don't have to label the disk by hand
(that's why
LabelMedia = yes is set).
1- Do I have to delete the labels, or it will work with the label? Any
difference?
2 - I have the configuration:
Device Storage Label
/mirror/disk0 - File0
Hi!
I want to reinitialize my catalog and I am doing:
/usr/ports/sysutils/bacula-server/work/bacula-1.36.3/src/cats/drop_sqlite_tables
/usr/ports/sysutils/bacula-server/work/bacula-1.36.3/src/cats/make_sqlite_tables
But the tables still exists, and all the data too.
Ideas?
Thanks,
